August 26, 2026 - The Bull Dog boys soccer team played their third consecutive road match to start the season at New Albany Tuesday night, and they came home with a JV/Varsity sweep as they now prepare to take on Columbus East on Thursday evening. The varsity team won 2-0, following a 4-1 victory by the JV squad. Angel Espejel punched in the match’s first goal with under a minute remaining in the first half to give North a 1-0 lead at the break. Mathiang Kak netted an insurance goal with five minutes remaining in the match off of an assist by Luccas Peda. Michael Larson and Jaden Andrade once again split time in goal, with Larson recording one first half save, and Andrade tallying two saves in the second half. The Bull Dogs (2-0-1) will host Columbus East Thursday evening, beginning at 5:30 pm. Students will cheer from the turf across from their team’s bench and all North students will be admitted free with their student ID lanyards.
