August 28, 2026 - Columbus North boys soccer held a 2-0 lead over Columbus East in boys soccer with 14 minutes remaining Thursday night, but two Olympian goals in a span of two minutes knotted the score at two goals apiece. Neither team was able to find the net the rest of the way, resulting in the draw. Parker Gribbins scored on a free kick in the first half, giving the Dogs (2-0-2) a 1-0 lead at the halftime break. Gribbins then assisted on a Mathiang Kak goal with 23 minutes remaining to give the Dogs a 2-0 lead. Michael Larson and Jaden Andrade split time in goal for the Bull Dogs. The Bull Dogs took the JV match 4-1 to improve their record to 2-1 for the season. North will host Cathedral on Thursday, September 3, beginning at 5:30 pm.
