September 2, 2026 - Columbus North girls soccer has been putting teams away early all season long. Tuesday night, however, the Dogs out-shot the visiting New Albany Bulldogs 17-3 in the first half (38-5 for the match), but only one goal found the net and the Bull Dogs clung to a 1-0 lead at the break. The second half was all North, however, as the Dogs remained a perfect 6-0 for the season with a 5-1 victory. Estefany Lopez had the first half goal, and the Dogs got three goals from Riley Sims and one from Avery Baker in the second half. Baker added a pair of assists in the second half, along with Rachel Fulp and Mila Begley. Danika Hoehn recorded four saves in goal for the Bull Dogs. The JV match that was scheduled at Seymour was canceled due to heat on Tuesday afternoon. North will travel to Roncalli Thursday afternoon, with the JV scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm.
