September 5, 2026 - Columbus North varsity football wasted little time expressing its dominance over Marion on Friday evening, jumping out to a 22-0 lead after just one quarter and rolling to a 56-8 running clock victory over the Giants. Quarterback Max Wilson threw touchdown passes to Cohen Long, Austin Kushman, Max Johnson, and two Hunter Koharchick. In addition, Logan Hammons and Austin Schwartz each had rushing touchdowns, and Max Lewis returned a touchdown for the Bull Dogs. The freshmen were originally scheduled to play at Marion Saturday morning and the JV at Columbus North. However, both games were canceled due to roster issues on Marion’s side. North will host Roncalli next Friday, September 11 at 7:00 pm.
