October 14, 2023 - Columbus North beat Jasper 3-2 to advance to this evening’s State Championship versus top-ranked Carmel. Carmel advanced with a victory over Culver Academy in the other semifinal match. Both matches were moved indoors at Depauw University due to weather and court conditions. Individual match scores for the Bull Dogs (in order of finish) included: 1S: Hank Lin (W) 6-0, 6-1 2S: Parth Shah (W) 6-1, 6-1 1D: Amrit Kar/Anvay Atram (W) 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 2D: Yoki Murabayashi/Michael Crossman (L) 6-4, 2-6, 6-7(2) 3S: Austin Clark (L) 6-3, 2-6, 6-7 The Bull Dogs (24-1) suffered their only defeat of the season to Carmel on August 29 at Carmel.
