Columbus North High School

October 15, 2023 - The Columbus North varsity volleyball team saw its season come to an end with a loss in the Sectional Championship game at Franklin Community High School. The Dogs fell to the host school in straight sets (25-17, 25-16, 25-10) to end their season with a 17-13 record, including 3-2 in Conference Indiana. Kennedy Horn led the offensive attack with ten kills and three service aces. Reese Edwards recorded 15 setting assists, six digs, and a pair of service aces for North. Morgan Osborn topped the Bull Dogs with 14 digs, while Katelynn Mabis added six. Karen Dutro and Kaitlin each had a block for the Dogs, with Dutro adding four kills. The match was the final one in a Bull Dog uniform for the four Columbus North seniors, Katelyn Mabis, Anna Kute, Kaitlin White, and Roselynn Venegas.
