September 16, 2026 - Bull Dog boys tennis faced its third consecutive ranked team on Tuesday afternoon when it hosted 11th-ranked Westfield, falling 4-1. Alek Devidze earned the team’s only match victory, a 6-1, 6-2 decision at number one singles. Max Wei dropped his two singles match 3-6, 1-6, and Vihaan Garg fell 3-6, 0-6 at three singles. In the doubles matches, Luca Devidze and Cale Fitzsimmons lost 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, and the number two doubles team of Logan Morales and Andrew Huang fell 3-6, 4-6. Columbus North will host Floyd Central on Friday in a match added yesterday due to the Fishers Invitational being rained out last weekend. Friday’s match is scheduled to begin at 2:15 pm so that the Highlanders can take on Columbus East at East at 5:30 pm.
