September 23, 2026 - Tenth ranked Columbus North boys soccer suffered their first defeat of the season at second ranked Bloomington South on Tuesday evening. The Dogs are now 6-1-3 for the season. Miguel Saolmao scored off of a free kick in the first half, giving the Dogs a 1-0 at the halftime break. The Panthers then evened the score with 24 minutes remaining in the match, shortly after the Bull Dogs went a man down due to a red card. Bloomington South sealed the victory with another goal scored with just eight minutes left. Michael Larson was in goal for the Bull Dogs and recorded six saves. The JV team fell to 3-5-1 for the season after a 2-1 loss in the early match. North will play Munster and thirteenth ranked Evansville North Saturday at the Zionsville Classic.
