September 25, 2026 - 30th ranked Columbus North boys tennis earned a 3-2 road victory over 26th ranked Bloomington North on Thursday evening to improve to 6-8 for the season. The Dogs fell in an 0-2 hole, losing the two singles match (Andrew Huang 1-6, 1-6) and three singles (Vyom Desai 2-6, 2-6). That’s when the Bull Dog rally began. Logan Morales and Max Wei teamed up at two doubles for a 6-2, 6-2 victory, and Alek Devidze won his one singles match 6-1, 6-4 to even the team score 2-2. Luca Devidze and Cale Fitzsimmons came through for the Dogs with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 victory to seal the 3-2 team victory. Columbus North will travel to Roncalli this evening for a 5:45 match with the Royals. The Dogs were originally scheduled to host Silver Creek this evening, but the Dragons canceled the match.
