August 24, 2022 - Rivalry Week competitions will continue on Wednesday and Thursday this week as the girls and boys soccer teams will face Columbus East at the BCSC Soccer Complex. JV games will begin at 6:00 with the varsity games to follow at approximately 7:30 pm. Students for each school will be cheering from the turf in the corners across from their team’s bench. Areas will be marked off with hurdles. Students must stay within those boundaries and not approach the playing field. No food or beverages of any type will be allowed on the turf. Students are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Couches or other furniture will not be allowed. Adults and other fans will be in the bleachers on the west side of the stadium. Gates will open at 5:00 pm for each contest and tickets are $6 each. Columbus North All-Sports Passes and BCSC badges will be honored for these events. Once the parking lot is full, there will be NO PARKING along Poshard Drive. Spectators may park at Richard Wigh Stadium just south of the soccer complex or on adjacent roads. Please do not park on the grass at or around the stadium. During halftime of Thursday’s boys game, Columbus North will be honoring the tenth anniversary of their 2012 IHSAA State Boys Soccer Championship. Players and coaches from that team will be introduced and recognized. Columbus North is looking forward to hosting these events. We are anxious to see two competitive games with enthusiastic fans.
