September 26, 2026 - North volleyball won their fourth out of their last five matches with their 3-0 sweep of Jennings County Saturday morning in Memorial Gymnasium. The Bull Dogs (13-8) won the first set 25-11, but the Panthers jumped out to an early lead in set two before the Dogs rallied for a 25-17 decision. North then cruised to a 25-11 set three victory to complete the sweep. The Dogs opened the event with a 2-0 sweep in the JV match, improving to 10-7 for the season. Statistical leaders for the Bull Dogs in the varsity match included: Kills: Izabella Rice 13 Service Aces: Shelby Sharp 4, Rori Pollert 3 Solo Blocks: Emma Haston, Tania Maldonado, Sydni Schiefer all with 1 Block Assists: Sophie Rohls 2 Digs: Kyndal Wheeler 8, Pollert 7 Assists: Lexi Denny 27 North will host Columbus East on Thursday evening. Freshmen and JV will begin at 6:00, with varsity to follow the JV. The Bull Dogs will recognize the programs’ seniors and will host the Central Middle School and Northside Middle School programs as their guests for the cross-town rivalry match.
