October 16, 2026 - Columbus North boys soccer ended their season with a 10-4-4 record after a 1-0 loss to second ranked Bloomington South on Thursday evening in Bloomington. The Panthers broke a scoreless tie with just 1:39 remaining in the first half, sneaking a goal past keeper Michael Larson just inside the lefthand post. The Dogs had a few chances in the second half, including a shot off the left post that ricocheted out, but were unable to get any balls past the Panthers’ keeper. The Bull Dogs out-shot the Panthers 12-11 for the match and held a 6-3 advantage in shots-on-frame, but South made the shot that counted to advance in the tournament. Larson recorded a pair of saves in the loss. Columbus North will bid farewell to 13 seniors, including Jaden Andrade, Michael Larson, Juan Galicia-Salas, Advait Aras, Edgar Ibarra Diaz, Angel Espejel, Mathiang Kak, Farid Garcia-Renteria, Manuel Valle, Miguel Salomao, Ben Wiltrout, Brody Johnson, and James Ipuz Moreno.
