August 25, 2022 - For fans of defensive soccer, the Columbus North vs Columbus East girls soccer game was a work of art. The teams fought to a 0-0 draw with only six shots on goal between the teams (five for East, and just one for North). East outshot North 12-3 for the game. Mallory Gilley recorded five saves for the Dogs (2-1-2) in goal. The Bull Dogs won another defensive battle in the JV (4-1) game 1-0 behind a Paige Terry goal in the first half. Both teams will be back on the pitch on Saturday (August 27) as they host Floyd Central. JV begins at 11:00 am, with varsity to follow.
