Boys tennis conquers Plainfield 4-1

August 25, 2022 - In a match that was much closer than the score indicates, Kendall Hammel’s boys tennis team defeated Plainfield 4-1. The reserves also won seven of twelve matches. The Dogs started with victories from Hank Lin (6-0, 6-0) at one singles, and Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram (6-1, 6-2) in one doubles. Plainfield then took the two singles match as Parth Shah fell 6-2, 2-6, 2-6. North then sealed the match with a two doubles victory by Parth Gupta and Darren Li (7-6(12), 4-6, 6-3), and then added a three singles victory by Austin Clark (5-7, 6-4, 6-2).
