December 17, 2023 - Columbus North boys and girls swim teams swept BNL Saturday morning at Columbus North. The boys won 102-81 to improve their record to 2-5, while the girls evened their season record at 3-3-1 with a 139-44 victory over the Stars. The boys earned victories in the following events: 100 yard individual medley (Brock Smith, 2:16.54) 1-meter diving (Dagan Kleffman) 100 yard butterfly (Aarush Mahato, 56:46) 100 yard freestyle (Jude Abdallah, 51.13) 200 yard freestyle relay (Mahato, David Zhang, Abdallah, Isaac Proffitt, 1:34.56) 100 yard breaststroke (Abdallah, 1:05.32) 400 yard freestyle relay (Mahato, Mateo Gamez-Lamadrid, Abdallah, Proffitt, 3:38.07) The girls won the following events: 200 yard medley relay (Advika Badve, Cora Tregoning, Sanaa Kulkarni, Nicole Brault, 2:09.42) 200 yard freestyle (Mridula Muthukumaran, 2:09.22) 200 yard individual medley (Ainsley Sherlock, 2:26.15) 50 yard freestyle (Georgia Abdallah, 26.65) 1-meter diving (Ella Gray Partin, 146.95) 100 yard butterfly (Muthukumaran, 1:05.43) 100 yard freestyle (Katie Frazier, 58.38) 500 yard freestyle (Sherlock, 5:56.90) 200 yard freestyle relay (Frazier, Sherlock, Brooklyn Pendleton, Abdallah, 1:49.45)) 100 yard breaststroke (Badve, 1:19.41) 400 yard freestyle relay (Sherlock, Frazier, Muthukumaran, Abdallah, 4:03.19).
