December 19, 2023 - The Bull Dog wrestlers battled through numerous injuries to finish 1-3 at the Henry Wilk Classic at Penn High School on Saturday, December 16. The Dogs defeated Ft. Wayne Snider (39-36) and fell to Penn (50-19), Mishawaka (48-30), and Goshen (45-33). Individually, Jason Shuey was the 126-pound weight class champion with a perfect 5-0 record. Joshiah Green was also 5-0, but wrestled up one weight class in one of his matches so was not named weight class champion. Joseph Cloud finished 3-0, Asher Ratliff 4-1, and Justice Thornton was 3-1 for the day. The Dogs will travel to Perry Meridian this evening (December 19) to take on the Falcons. The JV matches are scheduled to start at 6:00 with the varsity to follow around 7:00.
