Gymnasts tumble over Columbus East

January 9, 2024 - Columbus North gymnasts improved their team score from their season opener last week as they knocked off cross-town rival Columbus East 106.95-94.95 at East on Monday evening. Reese Euler ran away with the All-around title, scoring 36.6 points and winning three of the four individual events. Euler won Uneven Bars (9.15), Vault (9.5), and Floor Exercise (9.45), and finished third on the Balance Beam. Sophomore Hannah Perry was second on Vault and Beam, and was third on Floor Exercise. Laney Acton was third on Uneven Bars and in the All-around. Ellie McInteir was third on vault. Arwyn Tian won the Balance Beam (8.95). Next up for the Bull Dogs is a trip to Bloomington North on Thursday, January 11, beginning at 6:00 pm.
