January 9, 2024 - Junior swimmer Nicole Brault has been named Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week for the week of January 1, 2024. Brault was nominated by head swim and dive coach Mike Cunningham not only for her meet performances, but also for her consistency all season in “stepping up to support the team however needed.” Against Bloomington North last week, Brault placed fifth in the 200 yard freestyle and 500 yard freestyle, and was part of the runner-up 200 yard freestyle relay and fourth-place 400 yard freestyle relay teams. She also placed and scored team points in two events, the 200 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle.
