Seventh-ranked North tennis falls to second-ranked Carmel

August 31, 2022 - In a matchup of top-ten ranked teams, Columbus North and Carmel battled in boys tennis on Tuesday evening at Southport High School. The Greyhounds edged the Dogs 3-2 as North fell to 7-2 for the season. Carmel jumped out to a 3-0 lead with victories at two singles, three singles, and two doubles before Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram put the Bull Dogs on the board with a 6-0, 7-5 victory at one doubles, followed by a 7-5, 3-0 (retired) victory by Hank Lin at one singles. The Dogs travel to Lawrence Central this afternoon (August 31) in a non-conference matchup.
