Gymnasts roll over New Palestine and Richmond

January 19, 2024 - Columbus North gymnasts took the top three spots in the All-Around in a three-team meet with New Palestine and Richmond Thursday evening at The Gymnastics Company in Indianapolis. North’s 103.95 team score easily won the meet over New Palestine’s 95.175 and Richmond’s 86.1 team scores. Reese Euler (shown) won the All-Around (37.1), the Floor Exercise (9.35), the Balance Beam (9.4), and the Uneven Bars (9.275) and finished second to teammate Hannah Perry (9.1) on the Vault. Perry took second in the All-Around with a fourth-place finish on the Uneven Bars, a second-place finish on the Balance Beam, and a sixth-place finish on the Floor Exercise to go along with her first-place finish on Vault. North’s Laney Acton was third in the All-Around. Acton was fourth on Floor Exercise, sixth on Balance Beam, second on Uneven Bars, and eighth on Vault. Other notable finishes for the Bull Dogs included Ellie McIntier’s fourth-place finish on Vault and Beam, Arwyn Tian’s fifth place on Uneven Bars and Beam. The Bull Dogs will host Bloomington South on Thursday, January 25, beginning at 6:30 pm.
