North rolls over Bloomington South in gymnastics

January 25, 2024 - Columbus North was missing a couple of varsity gymnasts against Bloomington South, but the remaining Bull Dogs were still able to step up and record their second-highest team score of the season in a 104.625-95.225 victory over the Panthers. Junior Reese Euler won three of the four individual events (Vault - 9.4, Balance Beam - 9.05, and Uneven Bars - 9.425) as well as the All-Around (37.05) against the Panthers. Teammate Hannah Perry won the Floor Exercise (9.275) and finished second on the Uneven Bars, Vault, and in the All-Around. Freshman Emerson Chambers was third on the Balance Beam, and sophomore Ellie McIntier was third on Vault and Uneven Bars. The Dogs (5-1) will host Seymour in a dual meet on Thursday, February 1 beginning at 6:30 pm.
