January 30, 2024 - Sophomore wrestler Asher Ratliff has been named the Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week. Ratliff was nominated by head wrestling coach Matt Joyce. Ratliff won the 157 pound weight class at the Conference Indiana Wrestling Championships and followed that up with an IHSAA Jennings County Sectional championship this past Saturday. He has become only the third wrestler in program history to record over 100 takedowns in a single season and is closing in on the school record for most takedowns in a season. Ratliff owns a 32-2 record for the season and will compete for a Regional title on Saturday, February 3 at Jeffersonville.
