February 10, 2024 - Reese Euler won three individual events and the All-Around title as the Bull Dogs won the 16-team Connersville Invitational on Saturday (Feb 10). The Dogs’ 106.6 points easily outscored runners-up Bloomington South (101.925) and third place Franklin Central (100.4). The team total was the Bull Dogs’ second-highest of the season after a 106.95 output at Columbus East earlier this season. Euler (shown) won the Vault (9.575), Uneven Bars (9.1), and Floor Exercise (9.55) en route to her All-Around (36.950) victory. Teammate Hannah Perry was second on the Floor Exercise, third on the vault, and fourth on Uneven Bars and the All-Around. Laney Acton was seventh on the Uneven Bars, Ellie McIntier was 7th on the Balance Beam, and Emerson Chambers was ninth on the Floor Exercise. North will travel to Bloomington North on Monday evening for the Conference Indiana meet. Bloomington North and Bloomington South are the only other Conference Indiana schools with a gymnastics team, so the meet will feature only three teams. Bloomington North handed the Bull Dogs their only loss of the season on January 11 (106.45-104.1), while the Dogs defeated Bloomington South 104.625-95.225 on January 25 in their dual meet.
