February 16, 2024 - The North boys swimmers posted numerous season-best performances in the sectional prelims at North on Thursday evening, setting the Dogs for a number of runs at state qualification on Saturday. Qualifying for Saturday’s IHSAA Sectional Finals were the following Bull Dog swimmers, with their seeds listed: 200-yard Medley Relay (7) 200-yard Freestyle: Diego Contero Tapia (3), Mateo Gamez-Lamadrid (16) 200-yard Individual Medley: Brock Smith (11) 50-yard Freestyle: Jude Abdallah (5), Isaac Proffitt (7), David Zhang (14) 100-yard Butterfly: Diego Contero Tapia (3), Aarush Mahato (5), Smith (9) 100-yard Freestyle: Zhang (16) 500-yard Freestyle: Gamez-Lamadrid (16) 200-yard Freestyle Relay (2) 100-yard Backstroke: Saisri Harshith Devaguptapu (15) 100-yard Breaststroke: Abdallah (1), Victor Joergensen (16) 400-yard Freestyle Relay (7) Diving will begin at 9:00 on Saturday, with the swim finals scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
