February 29, 2024 - The official start of the 2024 Track and Field season is still a couple weeks away, but the Bull Dog track athletes are already in action for a short indoor season. Wednesday evening, the Dogs were at IU competing at the Bloomington North Invite. Columbus North athletes placing in the top eight in the abbreviated event list included the following: Boys: 1600m: Draven Martinez (2nd), Jonny Klaus (3) 3200m: Neal White (2nd) 4x200m Relay (5th) 4x400m Relay (5th) 4x800m Relay (2nd) Distance Relay (3rd) High Jump: Tucker Tower (5th) Long Jump: Tower (6th) Pole Vault: Wyatt Clark (5th) Girls: 1600m: Kenzie Pendleton (4th), Lydia Weed (6th) 3200m: Adira Sluder (6th), Macy Eaton (7th) 4x200m Relay (3rd) 4x400m Relay (4th) 4x800m Relay (2nd) Distance Relay (1st) High Jump: Avery Johnson (4th) Long Jump: Johnson (7th) Pole Vault: Sierra Newell (T-7th), Kallie McCain (T-7th) No team scores were kept at this event. The Dogs will be back on the track at the Whiteland Invite at UIndy on Friday, March 1.
