Dogs top eleventh-ranked Falcons in boys soccer

September 7, 2022 - Nathan Imlay and Flynn Keele each recorded goals for the seventh-ranked Columbus North boys soccer team in a 2-0 victory over eleventh-ranked Perry Meridian. Imlay’s goal came in the sixth minute on an Obed Oliva assist. Keele netted a penalty kick in the 50th-minute. The Bull Dogs (8-0-1, 2-0) fired nine shots, including five on goal. The Falcons recorded eleven shots, but only two on goal for the match. Max Grewe and Oscar Ballinas each played 40 minutes in goal for North with Grewe recording two saves. The Columbus North and Perry Meridian JV teams are scheduled to face off on Wednesday, September 14 at 6:00 pm at the BCSC Soccer Complex. The Bull Dogs will host Carmel on Friday evening with the JV match kicking off at 6:00 pm.
