Tennis team rolls over Columbus East to kick off season

March 30, 2024 - Columbus North girls tennis got their season started at Columbus East on Thursday, March 28. The Dogs had no trouble with the Olympians, rolling to a 5-0 victory. Columbus East had only six players, so they forfeited the number-three singles match. Match results were as follows: 1S: Aya Saad (W) 6-1, 6-0 2S: Lison Cloteaux (W) 6-0, 6-0 3S: (Columbus East forfeit) 1D: Annabelle Sun/Lucy Bergman (W) 6-0, 6-0 2D: Grace Conner/Lizzie Bodart (W) 6-0, 6-0 The tennis team will be back on the court at Center Grove on Tuesday, April 2, beginning at 5:30 pm. Conner and Bodart scored a 6-0, 6-0 victory at two doubles to help the Bull Dogs beat East 5-0 in the season’s opening match.
