September 9, 2022 - The Columbus North Bull Dogs girls soccer team traveled to Roncalli to face the Royals in non-conference action on Thursday evening. A second half penalty kick by Roncalli was the only goal scored in the match, handing the Dogs a 1-0 loss. The defeat dropped the young squad to 3-4-2 for the season. Mallory Gilley had eight saves in goal for the Bull Dogs, who fired six shots for the match. Chloe Lavelle and Paige Terry each netted goals to lead the JV team (7-2-1) to a 2-1 victory over Roncalli. The squads will travel to Greenfield Central tomorrow morning (September 10). JV teams will square off at 10:00 for just one half of competition due a lack of healthy Greenfield Central players. The varsity match will follow.
