September 14, 2022 - After losing the first two sets 17-25 and 13-25, the Bull Dogs found some extra energy in the third set against Franklin Central and battled the Flashes into extra points before eventually falling 26-28. The defeat drops the Bull Dogs to 6-10 for the season. Karen Dutro led the Dogs in serving (one ace and six points served) and kills (7), while recording three blocks. Emily Stair had 14 digs, Reese Edwards had two aces and seven assists, Logan Branstetter pounded five kills, Emma Burns had nine assists, and Kennedy Horn added four blocks. The JV and C teams each earned three-set victories in the early matches. Thursday evening, the Bull Dogs will host Lawrence North’s C-team (5:30 start), and the JV and varsity teams from Jennings County. Logan Branstetter has planned a special event that evening for her senior project with both Columbus North and Jennings County participating.
