September 14, 2022 - Following a dominating performance at the Conference Indiana girls golf meet on Monday, Scott Seavers’ Columbus North girls golf team needed to get refocused quickly for their Tuesday afternoon match against cross-town rival Columbus East. The Dogs were able to find that focus and defeat the Olympians 157-171 at Timbergate Golf Course, improving their dual-meet record to 8-2. Ava Bunker again led the Dogs with a four-under 32. Erin Hopkins and Lindsey Hartwell each carded personal-best scores (37 and 40, respectively), and Ritisha Rashmil added a 48 for North. Also playing for North, but scores not included in the team total, were Nettie Meeks (49), MIla Bachman (55), Ana Pavlov (57), Kara Buntin (63), and Jaedyn Greenlee (63). This concludes the regular season for the Bull Dogs. Next up will be the Sectional meet at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington.
