April 19, 2024 - Payton Morris and Bailee Scruggs combined on a one-hit shutout against Southport to improve to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in Conference Indiana. The Bull Dogs beat the Cardinals 10-0 in five innings. Morris (shown) threw the first three innings, allowing one hit while striking out six. Scruggs then took over to begin the 4th inning and struck out six in two innings to close out the Cardinals. Kelsey Lovelace had three hits and an RBI, and scored a run to lead North’s offense. Morgan Jarvis had a triple for one of her two hits, and Ali Wooten recorded a pair of singles. The Bull Dogs will travel to Center Grove on Saturday, April 20 for a pair of games.
