North tennis third at Park Tudor Invitational

April 21, 2024 - Columbus North finished in third place at the Park Tudor Invitational, a tennis event that showcases eight of the state’s top tennis programs. In this event, each athlete competes in an eight-person bracket, earning team points based on their finish. Senior Kathryn Wilson won the one-singles division with three straight-set victories. Two-singles player Aya Saad finished second in her bracket, losing in the finals. The two-doubles team of Grace Connor and Lizzie Bodart finished 1-2 to capture fourth place. The one-doubles teams of Annabelle Sun and Lucy Bergman also finished 1-2 to take seventh in their bracket, and Lison Cloteaux was 0-3 in the three-singles bracket to finish eighth. St. Joseph won the team title (22 points) with three bracket winners. The Bull Dogs finished behind Fishers (18 points), scoring 13 team points. The Bull Dogs will host Seymour on Monday evening, beginning at 4:45 pm.
