Boys tennis rallies for victory over Bloomington South

September 15, 2022 - The sixth-ranked Columbus North tennis team rallied from an 0-2 deficit on the road at sixteenth-ranked Bloomington South to win 3-2 and improve to 4-0 in Conference Indiana play. Austin Clark fell 0-6, 0-6 at two singles, which was followed by a 1-6, 2-6 loss at three singles by Steven Sun before the Bull Dogs began to rally. Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram put the Bull Dogs on the board with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at one doubles. Hank Lin then came away victorious in the match of the night with a 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) victory at one singles, bringing the Dogs even with the Panthers for the match. Parth Shah and Parth Gupta dropped the first set of their two doubles match 2-6, but rebounded to take the last two sets 6-1, 6-1 for the Bull Dog victory. North will face Floyd Central at home on Saturday, September 17, beginning at 10:00 am.
