April 25, 2024 - Columbus North improved to 9-1 in their first Conference Indiana matchup of the season with a 4-2 victory over Bloomington North on Wednesday evening. Connor Hensley (shown) went the distance, giving up two runs (one earned) on just four hits, while striking out eight and walking just two batters. Hensely also had two of North’s five hits and an RBI in the victory. Other hits came from Dillon James, Jayce Emmitt, and Brock Kintner (RBI double) in the first inning. The JV Bull Dogs earned a 5-3 victory over Center Grove in the other game of the evening. North will travel to Seymour this evening for a non-conference matchup against the Owls, while the schools’ JV teams will meet in Columbus at Southside Elementary.
