Tennis improves to 8-2 with victory at Floyd Central

May 3, 2024 - Columbus North rolled to a 4-1 victory at Floyd Central on Thursday evening to improve to 8-2 for the season. Aya Saad got the Dogs on the board first with a 6-0, 6-0 victory in her two singles match. Kathryn Wilson then made the score 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at one singles, before Lucy Bergman and Lizzie Bodart then closed out a 6-1, 6-0 victory at one doubles. Annabelle Sun fell 3-6, 0-6 at three singles to give the Highlanders their only match of the evening before Grace Conner and Lison Cloteaux closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at two doubles. The Dogs will host Lawrenceburg on Saturday morning in a match being made up from an earlier rainout.
