Boys soccer stays undefeated in Conference Indiana with 6-0 victory over Terre Haute North

September 19, 2022 - The Bull Dogs boys soccer team dominated Terre Haute North 6-0 Saturday afternoon as they recognized the program’s seniors. The Dogs outshot the Patriots 37-0 (13-0 advantage in shots on goal) and remained undefeated in Conference Indiana (3-0) and improved to 10-1-1 overall. Christian Cardoso got the Dogs on the board in the 16th minute (assist by Flynn Keele), and Obed Oliva scored in the 32nd minute with an assist from Nico Gotoh to send the Bull Dogs to the locker room with a 2-0 halftime lead. The second half was all Bull Dogs as Nathan Imlay scored a PK, Keele scored with a Trent Liggett assist, Anthony Johnson found the net giving Gotoh his second assist, and Alejandro Alvarez scored on a PK. Oscar Ballinas and Max Grewe split time in goal for the victorious Bull Dogs. The JV improved to 9-2-1 (3-0 in Conference Indiana) with a 5-0 victory over Terre Haute North. Columbus North will travel to Bloomington to take on the Cougars of Bloomington High School North on Tuesday, September 20. JV is scheduled to get underway at 6:00 pm, with varsity to follow.
