Boys tennis wins Conference Indiana title with victory over Bloomington North

September 23, 2022 - The Columbus North boys tennis team finished the 2022 Conference Indiana schedule with a 5-0 record and an outright conference championship with a 5-0 victory over 16th-ranked Bloomington North on Thursday night (Sep 22). The Bull Dogs are currently ranked sixth and have an 18-2 overall record. Bull Dog victories over the Cougars came from (in order of finish) Parth Shah and Parth Gupta at two doubles 6-0, 6-4, Steven Sun at three singles 6-0, 6-0, Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram at one doubles 6-3, 6-1, Austin Clark at two singles 7-6, 6-2, and Hank Lin at one singles 6-7, 5-5 (retired). The Columbus North reserves also won twelve out of 13 matches. The Bull Dogs will travel to Muncie Burris on Friday (Sep 23) to conclude their regular season schedule before hosting the Sectional tournament on Wednesday, September 28.
