Bull Dogs volleyball takes third at Heritage Days Classic

September 26, 2022 - A 3-1 record at Hauser’s Heritage Days Classic earned the Columbus North volleyball team a third-place finish. Wins over Franklin (25-19, 25-13) and Oldenburg Academy (25-15, 25-22) preceded a loss to Greensburg (19-25, 20-25). The Dogs bounced back with a 25-23, 25-21 victory over Seymour’s JV to finish the event. Freshman Karen Dutro had a big day, leading the Dogs in kills (24), serving aces (5), and blocks (9). Emily Stair recorded 62 digs for North, and Emma Burns and Reese Edwards tallied 37 and 30 assists, respectively. The Dogs will travel to Bedford North Lawrence Tuesday evening before hosting cross-town rival Columbus East for Senior Night on Thursday.
