September 26, 2022 - Cross country athlete Julia Kiesler has been recognized as the Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week for the week of September 5, 2022. Kiesler won the Eagle Classic Elite race at Brown County by 21 seconds on September 10, setting a new school, meet, and course record time of 17:28.7. She matched that time the following weekend in winning the Conference Indiana Championships, giving her the two best times in school history. Kiesler will compete next at the Nike XC Town Twilight in Terre Haute on Saturday, October 1.
