June 3, 2024 - Columbus North golf will advance to the June 6 Providence Regional after winning the Greensburg Sectional on May 31. North’s 304 bettered runners up Columbus East (318) and Shelbyville (327), who finished third. Joseph Perkins earned medalist honors with a birdie on the first playoff hole against teammate Brady Schneider and Shelbyville’s Jake Garrison. All three players carded 74s to advance to the playoff for medalist honors. Other North scores included 78s for Austin Perry and Alex Clark, and an 87 from Carter Battin.
