August 17, 2024 - The tenth-ranked Columbus North boys soccer program prides itself on creating a difficult regular season schedule in order to be tournament ready at the end of the season. The 2024 season will be no different as the Dogs opened with top-ranked and three-time defending state champion Noblesville at home. After a scoreless first half, the Millers put two second-half goals on the board to prevail 2-0, dropping the Bull Dogs to 0-1 to begin the season. The Millers outshot the Dogs 12-8, with a 5-3 advantage in shots-on-goal. Senior goalkeeper JJ Salcedo Calderon had three saves in 80 minutes. The Bull Dogs also lost the early match 5-0. North will open their Conference Indiana with a road match at Bloomington North on Thursday, August 22. JV will begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
