Bull Dogs drop Conference Indiana road game at Bloomington South

October 3, 2022 - The two-time defending Conference Indiana champion Columbus North Bull Dogs dropped their first conference matchup since a 27-7 loss at Bloomington North on October 11, 2019. This loss, a 42-15 setback at the hands of Bloomington South secured the Conference Indiana title for the Panthers, who are ranked fifth in Class 5A. Senior Tyler Blythe rushed for 101 yards on 15 carries, Zac Horn finished 21-for-34 for 244 yards (including two touchdown passes and two interceptions), and Cooper Horn grabbed seven passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns. The Bull Dogs (3-4, 2-1) swept both Saturday morning games, with the JV (3-3) winning 21-0 at home, and the freshmen (5-2) posting a 34-20 victory at Bloomington South. Columbus North will host Bloomington North on Friday, Oct 7 in their final regular-season home game.
