August 23, 2024 - Columbus North bounced back from a 3-1 loss at Seymour earlier this week to rout Shelbyville 3-0 on Thursday evening (August 22). The Dogs rolled 25-8, 25-8, 25-19 to improve to 1-1 for the season. Kennedy Horn (shown) had 13 kills, two blocks, and four aces to lead the Bull Dogs victory. Karen Dutro added eleven kills, while Morgan Osborn had five aces and seven digs. Three setters, Reese Edwards, Holly Evans, and Lexi Denny had seven, seven, and six assists, respectively. The JV squad improved to 2-0 with a 25-17, 25-13 sweep in the early match. The Bull Dogs will compete in the Franklin Central Volleyball Invitational on Saturday, August 24, beginning at 9:00 am.
