August 25, 2024 - Despite missing three varsity players, Columbus North was able to finish in fourth place in the eight-team Jeffersonville Tennis Invitational on Friday and Saturday (August 23, 24). Team points are earned based on the place of finish of each individual player or doubles team in their own mini tournament. Hank Lin (shown) won the one-singles championship, going 3-0 for the event and earning North nine team points. The one doubles team of Yoki Murabayashi and Vince Sasse finished fourth for five team points, as did the two doubles team, which used a different combination of players in each round. The number two singles players (Parth Shah and Adrian Perez) combined to earn a fifth-place finish. Jace Branham played three singles for North and finished sixth for three team points. Jasper’s 39 points earned them the team title, followed by Zionsville, Elkhart, and Columbus North.
