September 2, 2024 - Columbus North volleyball broke a seven match losing streak with a 2-0 victory over East Central on Saturday (Aug 31) at the Bloomington South Invitational. The victory followed three straight losses to begin the event (1-2 to Jasper, 0-2 to Brownstown Central, and 0-2 to Trinity Lutheran). Statistical leader for Columbus North for the tournament included: Kills: Karen Dutro and Kennedy Horn (27), Sydney Ousley (19) Assists: Reese Edwards (35), Lexi Denny (26) Blocks: Dutro and Horn (8 each) Aces: Horn (7), Morgan Osborn (5) The Bull Dogs (3-9) will be back on the court on Tuesday, September 3 at Bloomington North. Freshman and JV teams will begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow the JV match. This will be Columbus North’s Conference Indiana opener.
