North volleyball falls to Terre Haute South

October 10, 2022 - The Columbus North volleyball team concluded their regular season with a 0-3 (14-25, 14-25, 14-25) loss at Terre Haute South on Saturday, October 8. The Dogs finish their season 11-16 (1-4 in Conference Indiana). Emma Burns tallied seven assists and teammate Reese Edwards added six for the Dogs. Logan Branstetter had a pair of aces and three kills. Emily Stair served three points and recorded nine digs. Karen Dutro had five blocks (Kailtlin White added four) and six kills to lead the Bull Dogs. The JV team lost in three sets (19-25, 25-24, 11-15) to finish their season with an 8-8 record. Terre Haute South did not have a ninth grade/C-team. The Bull Dogs will face the Franklin Community/East Central winner in the semifinals of the Columbus East Sectional on Saturday, October 15 at 11:00 am.
