September 6, 2024 - Despite missing a pair of varsity starters, the Columbus North boys tennis team were able to edge Whiteland 3-2 in a non-conference matchup on Thursday afternoon at Columbus North. Match results in order of finish: 2D: Sashu Sabapathy/Adrian Perez W 6-3, 6-1 3S: Jace Branham L 2-6, 6-3, 0-6 1D: Yoki Murabayashi/Vince Sasse L 6-2, 3-6, 1-6 2S: Teddy Littrell W 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 1S: Parth Shah W 1-6, 7-6, 6-2 Columbus North (4-1, 1-0) will play a non-conference match at Seymour on Monday, September 9, beginning at 4:30 pm. Photo: Parth Shah overcame a 1-6 first set loss to rally and win his number one singles match against Whiteland on Thursday evening. The team match was tied 2-2, making Shah’s victory the victory-clinching match.
