September 8, 2024 - Columbus North out-shot host North Central 17-11 on Saturday afternoon, but couldn’t get any of their five shots on goal to find the back of the net. Fortunately, the Bull Dogs’ defense, and goalkeeper JJ Salcedo Calderon (shown) was up to the task and held North Central scoreless as well. The 0-0 draw dropped North’s record to 5-2-1. The JV team fell to 3-2-2 with a 1-0 loss in the early match. Both teams will travel to Perry Meridian for another non-conference matchup on Tuesday, September 10, beginning at 6:00 pm.
