October 24, 2022 - Both boys and girls cross country teams are heading to the IHSAA State Championship meet in Terre Haute on Saturday, October 29 thanks to their respective first-place finishes at the Brown County Semi-state meet on October 22. Saturday’s State Championship will be run at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, Wabash Valley Sports Center, 599 S. Tabortown Road, Terre Haute, IN 47803 The girls race will begin at 12:00 noon with an awards ceremony to follow. The boys will run following the girls awards ceremony at approximately 2:30 pm, again with awards following the race. All tickets must be purchased through GoFan using the following link: https://gofan.co/app/events/712009?schoolId=IHSAA and will cost $15 each. All children ages five and under are admitted free. No cash tickets are available the day of the event. Event organizers warn that cell service is weak at the venue, so fans are encouraged to have their digital tickets on their phones prior to entering the venue. Tickets will be validated at the gate upon entry. Streaming of the event is available exclusively through IHSAAtv.org.
