Boys tennis stays perfect in Conference Indiana with victory at Bloomington South

September 19, 2024 - Columbus North boys tennis remained undefeated (3-0) in Conference Indiana play with a 3-2 victory at Bloomington South on Wednesday evening. The Bull Dogs (12-1) jumped out to a quick 2-0 advantage after Hank Lin won his number one singles match 6-0, 6-0 and Parth Shah prevailed in his number two singles match 6-4, 4-0 (ret). Teddy Littrell fell at three singles (2-6, 4-6), but the number two doubles team of Sashu Sabapathy and Michael Crossman sealed the team victory with a 6-3, 7-5 win, putting the Dogs up 3-1. The Panthers won the final match at number one doubles (4-6, 6-2, 3-6) over Yoki Murabayashi and Vince Sasse to make the final score 3-2 in favor of Columbus North. The boys will be back on the court at home Thursday afternoon, beginning at 4:30 pm, when they host the Highlanders from Floyd Central in a non-conference matchup.
